. Put set in adjustment mode. (see page 38)
. Turn RV1O1 (GFS) fully in the direction of the
arrow, (see above)
. Connect oscilloscope to audio amp board test
point TP1 and TP10 (ground point).
. Adjust tentatively so that oscilloscope reading is
DC OV.
. Insert disc (YEDS-1) and press >PLAY button.
. Connect oscilloscope to audio amp board test
point TP3 and TP10 (ground point).
. Adjust RV406 for an optimum waveform eye
pattern or so that the peak is maximum. Opti-
mum eye pattern means that the shape “0” can be
clearly distinguished at the center of the waveform.

When observing the eye pattern, set the oscillo-
scope for AC range and raise the vertical sensitivity.
After adjustment, return RV101 to the original
setting.
