Note on the Transit Screw
Turn the unlt upside
down to turn the screw.

Before operating the CD player, be sure to turn
the transit screw as described on the label on
the bottom of the unit.
1 Remove the cap of the screw.
2 Turn the screw 180 degrees
counterclockwise using the supplied
screwdriver.
Do not turn the screw excessively, or the unit
may be damaged.
When transporting the unit again, turn the
transit screw in the reverse direction.
When You Use the CD Player
for the First Time

Tum on the power by pressing POWER while
keeping ERASE and FILE pressed.
This will clear the internal memory if you have
been instructed how to use the custom file
function at the shop you purchased the CD
player. Thus the player returns the same status
as it was manufactured at factory.
