Let’s get started

2. Charge the headset
Connect your headset to a USB port using the included USB cable.
Your headset might need up to 3.5 hours to charge fully.
Use one of the USB ports on your system.
3. Insert the wireless adaptor
Slide the power/audio mode switch to position 1 or 2.
Position 1 provides standard audio, while position 2 provides
bass boost. Position 2 can also be customized with audio modes
for your favorite games, music, or movies, using the Headset
Companion application, available from PlayStation
™
Store.*
4. Turn on your headset

Headset Companion app
The free Headset Companion app allows you
to download a new audio mode to your headset.
The app is available from PlayStation

Store.*
You can create your own audio mode with the
Headset Companion app, or select from preset
modes that have been specially designed to
deliver an optimal audio experience.

Connect to a supported USB
device to charge the headset.

VSS (Virtual Surround Sound) button
The Virtual Surround Sound effect is on by default.
VOL (Volume) + / – buttons
MUTE button
• Press to switch microphone MUTE on and off.
• Cycle through the sidetone volume settings
(high, medium, off) by holding down the
MUTE button.
