Perform the following procedure to
activate the Party Chain function.
1 Plug in the power cord and turn
on all the systems.
2 Adjust the volume on each
system.
3 Activate the Party Chain
function on the system which
you want it to be the Party Host.
Press FUNCTION +/– repeatedly to
select the function (except AUDIO IN)
you want, then start playback.
Press PARTY CHAIN on the unit.
“PARTY” and “CHAIN” appear in the
display panel twice. All systems play
the same music as the Party Host.
Notes
Depending on the total unit of systems you
have connected, Party Guest may take some
time to start playing the music.
Changing the volume level and sound effect
on the Party Host will not affect the output on
the Party Guest.
The Party Guest continues playing the music
source as Party Host even when you change
the function on Party Guest. However, you
can adjust the volume and change the sound
effect on Party Guest.
The system which is not equipped with Party
Chain function cannot become a Party Host.
For details on the operations of other system,
refer to the operating instructions of the
system.
To select a new Party Host
When you make connection A, you can
select another system as new Party Host.
Repeat step 3 of “Enjoying the Party
Chain” on the system which you want it to
be a new Party Host.
The current Party Host will become Party
Guest automatically. All systems play the
same music as the new Party Host.
Notes
You can only select another system as the new
Party Host after all the systems have
completed the Party Chain function.
Repeat the step above if the selected system
does not change as a new Party Host after a
few seconds.
To deactivate the Party Chain
Press PARTY CHAIN on the unit of the
Party Host.
Note
Repeat the step above if the system does not
deactivate the Party Chain after a few seconds.
You can set the sound mode when Party
Chain function is activated.
For optimum sound effect in a party
environment, set the systems on the left
side of the room to output only sound of
the left channel, and systems on the right
output only sound of the right channel.
1 Press OPTIONS.
2 Press / repeatedly to select
“P.CHAIN MODE”, then press
.
3 Press / repeatedly to select
“STEREO”, “RIGHT CH” or
“LEFT CH”, then press .
STEREO: Output the stereo sound.
RIGHT CH: Output monaural sound
of the right channel.
LEFT CH: Output monaural sound
of the left channel.
To exit the options menu, press
OPTIONS.
