MONI IN 1 and 2 connectors
PFL. (pre-fader listening) connector (phono jack)
While the PFL button [is] of each channel is depressed,
the pre-fader signal is output independent of the setting
of the external speaker PFL button [32].
MONI OUT (monitor output) 1 and 2 connectors
(phono jacks)
Used to connect a power amplifier to drive monitor
speakers.
TB (talk-back) connector (phono jack)
While the TALK BACK OUT button [37] is depressed, the
signal from the built-in microphone is fed to this
connector. An amplifier to drive a talk-back speaker
may be connected here.
MONI IN (monitor input) 1 and 2 connectors
(equivalent to. XLR-3-31)
Used to monitor external signals. The signals input to
these connectors are directly sent to the MONI OUT
connectors [43]. Therefore the signals on the air or
those played back on a VTR, etc. can be monitored
using the monitoring system of this unit when they are
connected to these connectors.
