What to do if my Sony CD Player rechargeable battery does not start charging?

  If your Sony CD Player's rechargeable battery isn't charging or fully charging, ensure it's correctly inserted and the AC adapter is properly connected. If that doesn't work, the battery might need a few charge/discharge cycles to restore its normal capacity, especially if it's new or hasn't been used in a while. Also, if the battery is completely drained, charge it. Make sure the surrounding temperature is between +5°C (+41°F) and +35°C (+95° F) while charging.
