OPERATING
VOLTAGE
Before
connecting
the
timer
to
the
power
source,
check
that
the
operating
voltage
is
the
same
as
the
local
power
line
voltage.
The
model
for
European
countries
(Type
1)
operates
on
220V
ac.
The
model
for
the
United
Kingdom
(Type
2)
operates
on
240V
ac.
The
mode!
for
other
countries
(Type
3)
operates
on
either
110-130
or
220-240
V
ac.
The
voltage
selector
is
located
on
the
rear
panel.
If
the
selector
must
be
reset,
disconnect
the
ac
power
cord
and
slide
the
selector
to
the
desired
voltage.

FREQUENCY
SELECTOR
SETTING
The
type
3
model
is
provided
with
a
frequency
selector
located
at
the
rear.
Be
sure
to
set
this
selector
to
the
appropriate
position
depending
on
your
local
power
line
frequency.

If
frequency
setting
is
improper,
the
clock
gains
or
loses.

Before
operating
the
set,
be
sure
that
the
operating
voitage
and
frequency
of
your
timer
is
identical
with
that
of
your
local.
power
supply.

Should
any
liquid
or
solid
object
fall
into
the
cabinet,
unplug
the
set
and
have
it
checked
by
qualified
personnel
before
operating
it
any
further.
To
disconnect
the
cord,
pull
it
out
by
the
plug.
Never
pull
the
cord
itself.

Do
not
overload
the
ac
outlets
located
at
the
rear
by
using
high
wattage
devices
such
as an
electric
iron,
fan,
or
hair
dryer.
The
maximum
rating
of
the
ac
outlets
is
indicated
in
the
‘“Specifica-
tions’’.
On
installation

Do
not
install
the
set
in
a
location
near
heat
sources
such
as
radiators
or
air
ducts,
or
in
a
place
subject
to
direct
sunlight,
ex-
cessive
dust,
mechanical
vibration
or
shock.

Do
not
place
the
set
on
top
of
an
amplifier.
Excessive
heat
from
the
amplifier
may
damage
the
components
of
this
timer.

cleaning

Clean
the
cabinet
periodically
with
a
soft
cloth
lightly
moistened
with
mild
detergent
solution.
Do
not
use
any
type
of
abrasive
pad,
scouring
powder
or
solvent
such
as
alcohol
or
benzine.
