What to do if my Sony RM-VL600T cannot control the volume?
    • K
      Keith MillerAug 16, 2025
If your Sony Remote Control isn't controlling the volume, ensure you've pressed the correct Component Select button and selected the desired component. If you've assigned another component to the TV or AMP button, volume control will be limited to those components. Weak batteries can also be the reason, so try replacing them with new ones.

      Makayla KelleySep 4, 2025
If the Sony Remote Commander fails to learn the remote control signals, it could be because a selected Component Select button or another button to be set has remote control signals programmed by the Learning function. Clear the “learned” signals or select another button which has no “learned” signals, and try setting again. Another possible reason is that the Hold function is on. Unlock the Hold function to resolve this.
