Additionally, verify that your TV is set to the correct video channel or that your monitor is set to video input. Also, check all player connections to ensure they are secure. Finally, make sure the COLOR SYSTEM switch is correctly set for your TV. If moisture condensation has occurred, turn the power off, unplug the mains lead and leave this player to dry for over an hour.

If the recording condition of the tape is very poor and tracking cannot be adjusted in the VHS part, or the NTSC system is being used, it can affect remote function. Clean the cabinet, panel, and controls with a dry soft cloth, or a soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild detergent solution. Do not use any type of solvent, such as alcohol or benzine.
