Adjustment
Clean the following parts with a denatured-
alcohol-moistened swab:
— Playback mode —
1. The take-up reel spindle flange should touch
record/playback head pinch roller the tension pulley.

Slowly
press
PAUSE
button.
First,
the
pinch
roller should release from the capstan. Next,
the tension pulley should release from the take-
up reel spindle flange. Under this condition,

magnetized
screwdriver
for

Demagnetize the record/playback head with a
head demagnetizer.
After the adjustments, apply a suitable locking
compound to the parts adjusted.

adjustment
cassette
as
shown
below.
Cut out hatched

the

curl
and tape twist at arrowed portions.
