Check the antenna cable and its connection at the TV, VCR, and at the wall. Also, verify the antenna setup.
Why does the wide screen mode change spontaneously on my Sony WEGA KV-SA282 TV?
During transitions between programs, the TV detects the optimum wide screen mode, which may cause temporary irregular wide screen modes. The wide screen mode also switches automatically based on the received signal with an ID-1 or WSS signal. If you have manually selected a wide screen mode, set “Auto Wide” to “Off” in the “Wide Screen” menu.
Why does my Sony WEGA KV-SA282 screen go blank during channel changes?
The “Signal Booster” is functioning to detect a weak signal. This does not indicate a malfunction.
