voltage regulator

Capacitors
C30
and
C31
are
provided
for
smoothing
and filtering
the
voltage
both
in
and
out
of
the
voltage regulator.
All
centrifuge models:
The
24
Vac
portion
from
the
secondary
side of
Power
Transformer
T1
passes
through P/J9
pins
3 and
lOto
be
input
at
the full
wave bridge rectifier
assembly.
The +24 Vdc
created
at
the
rectifier's
output
is
unregulated,
but
smoothed
by
smoothing
capacitor.
The
+24
Vdc
supply
is used
to
power
the
Run/Brake
Relay
(Kl)
and
the
Door
Solenoid
(LI).
The +24
Vdc
voltage
is
also
used
as a power
source
for
the
+12
Vdc
regulator.
The
regulator's
output
produces
the +12
Vdc
required
by
all
the TTL
devices
used
on
the
P.C.
Boards.
It
is filtered
and smoothed
by
capacitors.
