RUN/BRAKE
relay

brake
transformer

the
rectified
voltage

windings

excitation is

front
panel

brake circuit is
turned
off
automatically
by
hardware when
the
speed
is below

rpm,
regardless

position,

allow
the
rotor
to coast smoothly
to
