Overtemperature
Fault

figure
6-26)
On
refrigerated centrifuges,
temperature circuitry
monitors
the
centrifuge
for
an
overtemperature
condition.
The
overtemperature
level Is
preset
by
hardware
to approxi¬
mately
+45°C. If
the
measured
temperature ever exceeds
this
threshold,
an overtemperature
fault will
occur
that
will
terminate the
run
in
progress
or,
if
the
rotor is at
rest,
prevent
a
run
from
starting.
This
form
of
fault condition
will
light
the fault
lamp
located
on
the front
panel.
