If
the
rotor speed
exceeds
1500
rpm,
stop
the
run
in
progress by
turning
the
speed
control
knob
to
off.
22. Readjust
R18 for the
lowest
voltage
possible between +0.5
Vdc
and
+4.0
Vdc at
I. C.
Z 1
pin

where
the
"fail"
tube
and the
"reference"
tube
continues
to
illuminate
the
FAULT
LED.
Note
the final
threshold
values
on
the field
service
report.
23. Replace
the
"fail"
tube
with
the
"pass"
tube.
24.
Set
the
speed
control
knob
to
3200
rpm
setting.

Set the timer control
knob to
the
"HOLD"
position
to start the
centrifuge.
The
rotor
should
begin accelerating
towards
3200
rpm.
NOTE
The
FAULT LED
indicator
on
the
front
console
should
not
illuminate
as
the
rotor
accelertates
between
500
rpm
and
1000
rpm.
26.
If
the rotor
speed
exceeds
1500
rpm.
stop
the
run
in
progress
by
turning
the
speed
control
knob
to off.
27.
Recheck the imbalance
and
ensure
that the
centrifuge
performs correctly
for
both
"pass"
and
"fail"
conditions.
28. Exchange
both
bucket/carrier/tube assemblies
with
each other and recheck
again
for
both
"pass"
and
"fail"
conditions.
