Requirements
The
centrifuges
have
specific power
requirements
and
should
be used
only
on
appropriate
service
lines
as
follows:
RT6000D/RT6000B/RT6000:
105-125
Vac,
60
Hz,
single
phase,
15A
or
210-230
Vac.
50
Hz,
single
phase.
8A
T6000D/T6000B/T6000:
105-125
Vac,
60
Hz,
single-phase.
8A
or
210-230
Vac.
50
Hz.
single-phase.

Check the
rating
plate located on
the
back of the
centrifuge
for
proper
service lines.
The
current draw during acceleration
in the T6000D. T6000B.
and
T6000
could
peak
to
15
A
for 60
Hz
centrifuges
and
8 A
for
50
Hz
centrifuges. Therefore,
if
the
main
power
source
is
protected
by
fuses rather
than
circuit
breakers,
we recommend
the
use
of slow-blow
or
time-delay
fuses.
The
power
cord
provided
with the
centrifuge
has
a
NEMA
5-
15P,
3
prong
molded
cap
with
ground
pin
(60
Hz
centrifuges)
or
a
NEMA
6-
15P,
3
prong
molded
cap
with
ground
pin
(50
Hz
centrifuges).
The
power
cord
must
be attached when
the
centrifuge
is installed.
The
plug
will fit NEMA
receptacle
5- 15R
(60
Hz
centrifuges) or
NEMA
receptacle
6-
15R
(50
Hz
centrifuges).
For connection to other
receptacles,
the
power
cord
may
have
to
be
replaced.
