1.
Unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord.
2.
Lower
the front
panel (paragraph
5-32)
and locate
the
Control Printed Circuit Board
(the
larger
board).
3.
Disconnect
the
connectors
from the
printed
circuit
board.
4.
Remove
the four
mounting screws
that
secure
the
Control Printed Circuit Board in
place
and remove
the
board.
5.
To
replace
the
board,
reverse
steps
2
through
4.

1. Unplug
the
centrifuge
power
cord.
2. Open
the
front
panel (paragraph
5-32), and locate
the
Motor
Controls
P.C.
Board
(the
larger
board).
NOTE
If
the
Motor Controls
P.C.
Board is
PN
07561,
your
centrifuge
will
need to
be
updated
with
P.C.
Board
Replacement
Kit,
PN
12216.
Refer
to
paragraph
5-34
for
kit
instructions.
Do
not
follow
the
remainder of
this
procedure.
3.
Disconnect the
three
connectors
(P7. P8.
and
P9) from the
Motor Controls
P.C.
Board.
Before
removing
P9 it
may
be
necessary
to
remove
the
mounting
screw
securing
the
wiring harness
in
place.
Then.
after
noting
proper
wire
locations for
reassembly,
remove wires from
terminal
block
TB2.
4.
From the
heatsink. detach transistors
Ql.
CR4, CR7, CRIOandCRlSfromP.C. Board
PN
07848
or
Q14. Q17.
and
Q18
from
P.C.
Board
PN
07561.
5.
Remove
the four
mounting screws
from the
Motor Controls
P.C.
Board
and remove
the
board.
6.
Replace
the
Motor
Controls
P.C.
Board
by
reversing
the
above
procedure.
