IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Product Overview
• Before connecting the compressor to a power outlet, check if the voltage indicated on the compressor corresponds to the mains
voltage (100-120 V or 220-240 V). Using the compressor with the wrong mains voltage could damage the unit, and could cause an
electrical fire.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of damage, fire, electric shock, personal injury
or property damage.
• Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or power strips beyond their capacity. This could cause a circuit breaker trip, insufficient voltage
supply, or an electrical fire.
To avoid electric shock, never operate the compressor outdoors when raining, or in wet conditions.
• Always place the compressor on a flat and stable surface.
• Always remain in attendance when the compressor is in operation.
• Never place objects against, or on top of, the compressor. Operate the compressor in an open area without any obstructions that would restrict
the flow of fresh air into the compressor.
• Exceeding the pressure rating of pneumatic tools, such as airbrushes, spray guns, or air operated devices, could damage the tool and could also
cause serious personal injury. Never exceed the maximum allowable pressure rating recommended by your pneumatic tool’s manufacturer.
• Do not insert any foreign objects into the openings of the compressor.
• Do not disassemble the compressor or attempt to modify the compressor in any way.
This manual contains important information on product safety, set-up, operation, and maintenance. For optimum performance and safety,
read this manual carefully before using this product. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

Overview

The ARISM compressor, also known as SPARMAX AC-66hx, is a portable airbrush compressor designed for various pneumatic tool applications. It is a compact and lightweight device, weighing 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs) with dimensions of L19.2 x W12 x H18.5 cm (7.6" x 4.7" x 7.3").

Function Description:

The ARISM compressor provides a continuous and adjustable airflow for pneumatic tools such as airbrushes and spray guns. It features an auto on/off function, activating when pressure drops to 1.7 bar (25 psi) and stopping when it reaches 2.4 bar (35 psi). This automatic control helps maintain consistent pressure during operation and conserves energy. The compressor is equipped with a pressure gauge for real-time monitoring of air pressure delivery. It also includes a thermal safety switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it becomes too hot, preventing damage.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Model: AC-66hx
  • Air flow: 14-15 l/min (0.49 - 0.53 cfm) at open flow. This range indicates average values over different voltages and frequencies, with some tolerance for individual units and current fluctuations.
  • Auto on/off: 1.7 / 2.4 bar (25 / 35 psi)
  • Dimensions: L19.2 x W12 x H18.5 cm (7.6" x 4.7" x 7.3")
  • Weight: 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs)
  • Voltage Compatibility: Available in models compatible with 100-120 V or 220-240 V mains voltage.

Usage Features:

  • Easy Setup: The compressor is designed for straightforward setup, involving connecting the braided hose, airbrush bleed valve, and airbrush. An airbrush holder is integrated for convenience.
  • Pressure Adjustment: Air pressure can be adjusted by turning the knob on the Airbrush Bleed Valve. Clockwise rotation increases pressure, while counter-clockwise rotation decreases it. Reference points on the knob assist in setting desired pressure levels.
  • Auto Shut-Off Feature: When a dual-action airbrush is attached but not in use, the compressor automatically stops at 35 psi and restarts at 25 psi when the airbrush trigger is pressed. This feature is disabled if the airbrush bleed valve is left open, as airflow will continuously leak.
  • Moisture Trap: The Silver Bullet™ Airbrush Moisture Trap is included to collect condensation, preventing moisture from reaching the airbrush. It features a drain valve for easy release of collected water.
  • Included Accessories: The package includes essential accessories for immediate use:
    • Pressure Gauge
    • Air Outlet
    • Detachable Airbrush Holder
    • Handle
    • On/Off Switch
    • AC power inlet
    • Connector of power cable
    • Power cable
    • Plug (adaptor may vary by region)
    • Airbrush Bleed Valve
    • Silver Bullet™ Airbrush Moisture Trap
    • Silver Bullet™ Air Outlet
    • Silver Bullet™ Filter (full-sized, 5 micron filter)
    • Silver Bullet™ Drain Valve
    • Silver Bullet™ Air Inlet
    • Braided Air Hose
  • Safety Precautions:
    • Always verify voltage compatibility before connecting to a power outlet.
    • Do not operate outdoors in wet conditions.
    • Place on a flat, stable surface.
    • Remain in attendance during operation.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid obstructing airflow.
    • Do not exceed the maximum allowable pressure rating of pneumatic tools.
    • Avoid inserting foreign objects into openings.
    • Do not disassemble or modify the compressor.
    • Avoid touching exposed metal parts during or immediately after operation, as they can be hot.

Maintenance Features:

  • Moisture Release: Regularly push the Silver Bullet™ Drain Valve to release accumulated moisture from the Silver Bullet™ Airbrush Moisture Trap, especially in high humidity conditions. A paper towel can be used to collect the water.
  • Cooling Periods: It is recommended to run the compressor continuously for no more than 40 minutes. After this period, turn off the unit and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes before resuming operation. If the thermal safety switch activates due to overheating, turn off the compressor and allow it to cool for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Insufficient Airflow: Check for air leaks at connections using a soap and water solution. Tighten fittings as needed, and consider using PTFE seal tape for threaded connections. Replace the air hose if damaged.
    • Frequent Shut-Offs/Motor Issues: Disconnect other appliances from the same power outlet and avoid using extension cords.
  • Post-Use Procedure: After each use, ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged. Release any remaining air from the compressor by depressing the airbrush trigger.
  • Professional Assistance: For problems that cannot be resolved with the provided information, contact the retailer or supplier for assistance. Do not attempt to fix the device yourself to avoid damaging the compressor.
