Why my Spektrum PowerSafe AR12120 Receiver system will not connect?
    • P
      Paul BautistaAug 11, 2025
If your Spektrum system won't connect, the transmitter and receiver might be too close; move them 8 to 12 feet apart. Metal objects can also interfere, so move to an area with less metal. Ensure the correct model is selected and bound to. Finally, the transmitter may have accidentally entered bind mode; rebind your transmitter and receiver.

Why Spektrum PowerSafe AR12120 Receiver loses its bind?
    • C
      Cynthia JacksonAug 15, 2025
If your Spektrum receiver loses its bind, the transmitter stand or tray might be depressing the bind button. Remove it from the stand and rebind. Also, make sure you're not pressing the bind button before turning on the transmitter; if so, rebind your system following the binding instructions.

What to do if the LED on Spektrum PowerSafe AR12120 Receiver remains flashing?
    • W
      williamsshelbyAug 21, 2025
If the LED on your Spektrum receiver is flashing and the transmitter doesn't control it, first, unplug and then reconnect the flight battery. If that doesn't work, you may have bound the aircraft to a different transmitter, so rebind the aircraft to your desired compatible transmitter. It's also possible the transmitter was too close during initialization; move it a few feet away before reconnecting the battery.

What to do if Spektrum Receiver quits responding during operation?
    • B
      bensonamyAug 27, 2025
If a Spektrum receiver quits responding during operation, it may be due to inadequate battery voltage. Charge the batteries, as Spektrum receivers need at least 3.5V to operate. Also, check for loose or damaged wires or connectors between the battery and receiver, and repair or replace them as needed.

What to do if Spektrum Receiver aircraft smells burnt?
    • M
      melissawilliamsSep 4, 2025
If the aircraft doesn't function after connecting the flight battery and smells burnt, the flight battery may have been plugged in with the wrong polarity. Replace the AR12120 board and ensure the RED polarity marks are facing the same direction when connecting the flight battery to the AR12120 board.
