1.0 DISPLAY FUNCTIONS & SYMBOLS
1.1 FUNCTIONS (Figure 1)
1. Display: Backlit 3999 Count LCD screen
2. SELECT Button: Press to switch between Resistance, Diode, and
Continuity measurement functions.
3. REL Button: Press to set the current reading as a reference value
that will be subtracted from subsequent measurement readings.
Press again to exit this mode. This function is not available under
Frequency and Duty Cycle measurements.
4. Hz/% Button: Press to switch between Hz or % measurement if the
dial is set to DCV or ACV. Pressing it will also switch between Hz and
% when the dial is set to Hz measurement.
5. HOLD Button: Press to lock and hold the value currently being
displayed. Press again to exit this mode.
6. Rotary Switch: Turn to power the meter on and off and select the
desired measurement function. To save battery power, turn to the
“OFF” position when
the meter is not in use. See “ROTARY SWITCH” section for function
descriptions.
