The issue is likely due to low AC voltage reaching the treadmill. Avoid using an extension cord; if one is necessary, ensure it's a short, heavy-duty 16-gauge cord. If the voltage remains low, contact an electrician or your Spirit Fitness dealer, as a minimum of 110 volt AC current is required.
How to fix a Spirit Treadmill when the display does not light up?
First, ensure the tether cord is correctly positioned. Next, check the circuit breaker on the front grill; push it in until it locks. Verify the plug is firmly inserted into the 115 VAC wall outlet. Also, check the breaker panel circuit breaker. If none of these solutions work, there may be a defect. Contact your Spirit Fitness dealer.
