Proper Use

Intended Purpose

The CBS is intended for serving food and keeping it hot, with a maximum temperature of 90°C.

Known Misuse

Prohibited uses include cooking, transporting hot dishes, using unauthorized wind shields, inappropriate heat sources, or operating without water.

General Safety Recommendations

Handle with caution due to weight and potential for hot steam. Check water level periodically to prevent overheating and damage.

What to Do if a Fire Breaks Out

Smother flames with a damp cloth made of natural fibers. Avoid using wet cloths or synthetic materials.

Initial Operation

Directions

Follow operating instructions, avoid flammable materials, and ensure proper supervision for children and inexperienced users.

Cover Position

The cover has a built-in brake, allowing it to be set in three positions: closed, 60° angle, or fully open (90°).

Changing the Insert

Open cover, lift insert using the rear arm. Be cautious of hot inserts and escaping steam. Check water level frequently.

Includes 1 water bath, 1 stainless steel insert, and 1 cover with brake.

Optional Accessories

Various inserts (round, GN 2/3, stainless steel, porcelain), stand, built-in induction, fuel paste, and cleaner are available.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning

Wash inserts in dishwasher; hand-wash water bath and cover. Use Spring Inox cleaner for best results.

Servicing / Maintenance

The cover's braking function may weaken with use; replacement sets are available from dealers.

Store the CBS in a dry location away from dust to maintain its condition.
