REVISED: Replaced Master XL Gearbox #571043 Item #5, with new Quantis HB Gearbox #571201, ECN #508.
Replace Item 5 (571201 - GRBX,PAR,14:1 3HP 140 C-FACE QUANTIS HB) with new gearbox, 11/06/01, ECN #1389.
NOTE:
To take the motor and gearbox apart, first, carefully remove both covers over the access holes. Loosen both the 2-MM & the
5-MM hex head screws on the clamp collar. Remove all 4 (four) of the 3/8” bolts and then pull the gear box and motor apart.
When replacing the motor and gearbox, be sure the screws are loose and the clamp collar is in place. Align the key on the
motor with the key way in the gearbox and slide the motor and gearbox together. Replace all 4 (four) of the 3/8” blots and
tighten. Tighten the 5-MM hex head screw first, then the 2-MM hex head set screw. This will allow the collar to secure it’s self
around the motors shaft and the 2-MM will hold the key in place. Replace both the access hole covers.
