The appliance complies with IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-79 standards, as well as relevant European directives (2006/42/EC, 2014/35/EU, 2011/65/EU, 2012/19/EU, 2014/30/EU, and 2000/14/EC).

Usage Features

Assembly: The appliance is delivered partially assembled. All installation and assembly operations must be performed with the appliance disconnected from the mains power supply. This includes fitting pressure release caps (if applicable) and the rotating nozzle (if applicable).

Electrical Connection: Ensure the electrical supply voltage and frequency match the data plate. Use only approved extension cables with suitable conductor cross-section and IPX5 protection level.

Water Supply Connection: Only clean or filtered water should be supplied. The flow rate of the water inlet tap should be equal to the pump flow rate. The appliance may only be connected directly to the mains drinking water supply if the supply hose is fitted with a backflow preventer valve with drain facility corresponding to EN 12729 type BA. For suction from open containers, the suction hose should be filled before use, and the maximum suction height is 0.5 m.

Controls: The appliance features a starter device (H) to switch it ON (I) or OFF (0), and a water jet control lever (I). During operation, the appliance must be positioned on a firm, stable surface.

Start-up: Fully open the water supply tap, release the safety catch (D), depress the gun trigger for a few seconds, and then start the appliance using the starter device (ON/I). Ensure the appliance receives water correctly, as dry operation will damage it. Do not cover ventilation grilles. For models with a Total Stop System (TSS), the motor automatically cuts out when the gun trigger is released and restarts with a slight delay when depressed. Operations to release and depress the trigger should be at least 4-5 seconds apart. For non-TSS models, do not interrupt the water jet for more than 5 minutes to prevent damage from increased water temperature.

Stopping: Set the starter device to OFF (0), depress the gun trigger to discharge residual pressure, and engage the safety catch (D).

Restarting: Release the safety catch (D), depress the gun trigger to discharge residual air, and set the starter device to ON (I).

Detergent Use: Detergent is delivered using specific accessories and procedures. Use only detergents supplied or recommended by the manufacturer, as other chemicals may adversely affect safety. Avoid contact with skin and eyes; rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice if contact occurs. The detergent tank (B6) should be filled with highly biodegradable detergent.

Cleaning Procedure: Apply detergent mixed with water to dry surfaces. For vertical surfaces, work from bottom to top, allowing 1-2 minutes for the detergent to act without drying. Use the high-pressure jet from a minimum distance of 30 cm, starting from the bottom. Avoid rinse water running onto unwashed surfaces. Brushing may be necessary for stubborn dirt. Avoid using the rotating nozzle or fine adjustable nozzle jet on delicate or painted parts, or pressurized components (e.g., tires, inflation valves) to prevent damage.

Maintenance Features

General: Any maintenance not covered in the manual should be performed by an Authorized Sales and Service Centre. Always disconnect the plug from the power socket before performing any work on the appliance.

Nozzle Cleaning: Disconnect the lance from the nozzle and remove dirt deposits from the nozzle hole using the provided tool (C1).

Filter Cleaning: Inspect the inlet filter (L) and detergent filter (if fitted) before each use and clean as instructed if necessary.

Motor Unjamming (if applicable): For models with this feature, if the motor seizes due to limescale sediments from lengthy stoppages, turn the drive shaft with tool (M) to unjam it.

Oil Refilling (if applicable): For models with this feature, add oil through the intake hole to restore the correct level. Refer to the "Oil characteristics" table for specific oil types.

End-of-Season Storage: Before storing for winter, treat the appliance with non-corrosive, non-toxic antifreeze. Store the appliance in a dry, frost-protected place.

Storage and Transportation: Store accessories as shown in the manual. Transport the machine as indicated in the manual.

Safety Precautions:

  • Do not allow children to use the appliance.
  • High-pressure jets can be dangerous if misused.
  • Do not use flammable or toxic liquids.
  • Do not direct the water jet at people, animals, electrical equipment, or the product itself.
  • Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment (PPE) to ensure operator safety.
  • Do not tamper with or adjust safety valve settings.
  • Do not alter the original diameter of the spray head nozzle.
  • Do not move the appliance by pulling on the electric cable or high-pressure hose.
  • Avoid vehicles driving over the high-pressure hose.
  • Discharge residual pressure before disconnecting hoses.
  • Regularly check that screws are tightened and parts are not broken or worn.
  • Use only manufacturer-recommended hoses, fittings, and genuine parts.
  • Ensure all people and animals are at least 15 m away from the operating area.
  • Unsuitable extension cables can be dangerous; use outdoor-rated cables with dry, elevated connections. A cable reel keeping the socket at least 60 mm above ground is recommended.
  • Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before assembly, cleaning, adjustments, maintenance, storage, and transportation.
  • Insert the pipe jet kit down to the red mark before turning the appliance on.
  • Water that has passed through backflow preventers is considered non-potable.
  • Maintenance and repair of electrical components must be carried out by qualified staff.
