Most models have a factory installed water heater bypass that enables you to avoid lling the
water heater with RV antifreeze. The 3-Valve Bypass is typically located in close proximity
to the water heater.
Allows water to ow into the water heater.
Hot water bypass valve handle (B) should point toward the water heater.
Cold water bypass valve handle (A) should point toward the water heater.
In the 3-valve bypass diagram, valve D is the fresh water
tank shutoff. Valve E is used to introduce RV antifreeze into the lines
when winterizing the system and has a clear hose attached to it.
See Winterizing the Plumbing System. Valves D and E are typically
located near the water pump, which may be under a dinette bench,
kitchen island, or bed.
