3. INSERT a hex wrench 8mm (5/16 in) in the Chuck of Drill / Driver and

TIGHTEN it securely;

4. BEAT carefully in hex wrench with a mallet in a counterclockwise

direction. This will unscrew the chuck removing it easily (see ﬁ gure 14B);

5. INSTALL a new chuck in the end of the shaft and REINSERT the screw

removed from the background of the chuck.
