Why State Water Heaters Premier Water Heater has high operation costs?
    • R
      Ryan StoneAug 6, 2025
High operation costs for your State Water Heaters Water Heater can stem from several factors. A too high temperature set-point is one possibility, so try decreasing it. A dirty air filter can also increase costs; therefore, you should clean it. If the heater is in electric mode, switch to Efficiency or Hybrid mode to reduce energy consumption. Ensure that the water connections aren't reversed, with the cold connection at the bottom and the hot connection at the top. Insulate any exposed piping to prevent heat loss. Repair any hot water leaks at faucets or in the piping. Finally, sediment or scale buildup in the tank can contribute to higher costs, so drain and flush the tank. Water conditioning might be necessary to minimize future buildup.

Why is my State Water Heaters Premier Water Heater's temperature & pressure relief valve dripping?
    • H
      heather79Aug 18, 2025
A drip from the Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve on your State Water Heaters Water Heater can indicate a few issues. First, check the water supply inlet pressure; if it's higher than 80 PSIG, install a pressure reducing valve to bring it down to the recommended 50-60 PSIG. You may need to add or service a thermal expansion tank. If neither of those steps resolves the issue, the Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve itself may be non-functioning and need replacement.

How to fix no hot water in my State Water Heaters Water Heater?
    • B
      bryce22Oct 30, 2025
If your State Water Heaters Water Heater isn't providing any hot water, first check if the power button is lit. If not, a blown fuse or tripped breaker could be the cause. Restore power and press the power button. If the power button is red, press it to turn the unit on (it should turn green). Also, check if the unit is in Vacation mode and, if so, press the Vacation Mode button to exit. If these steps don't resolve the issue, the high temperature limit switch may be open. In that case, reset the high temperature limit switch. If your hot water usage exceeds the heater's capacity in the current mode, try changing to a different mode or adjusting your usage patterns. If none of these solutions work, the upper temperature sensor may be non-functioning, and you should contact a qualified pers...
