DATA RECOVERY
To Recover the data log:
Enter the Printer menu by pressing the MUTE and SECRET keys simultaneously.
Use the FILL key to work through the printer menu until the display reads:-
Press and hold the TEST Switch.
The sounder will bleep once and the display will change to:-
This is the start of the printer menu. Either print out the recovered data as described previously or press the
SECRET key to revert to normal operation.
DOWNLOADING DATA TO A PC
As an alternative to printing a log, stored data may be downloaded to a PC. Software can be supplied for this
purpose. Alternatively, if users wish to write their own software, details of the PC interface can be supplied.
TEMPERATURE RECORDER OUTPUT
As an alternative to (or as well as ) a printed data log a chart recorder may be connected.
The output is taken from the terminals marked REC + and - on the connector PCB. Pass the recorder cable
through a spare cable gland and strip and terminate to the Recorder terminal block.
Output is -10mV/C over the range 0 to -200 C. i.e. 1.96V at -196 C. Output resistance is 1K ohms approx.
