the collar of the keyless chuck 2 by hand in rotation direction
. This automatically locks the drill chuck.
The locking is released again to remove the tool when the
collar is turned in the opposite direction.
2_FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
PLACING OR FIXING THE TOOL

REGULATORY USE
The tool is designed for cutting branches, bushes and small
trees in agriculture, horticulture and gardening.

The technical specications indicated here are understood
within certain tolerances (in accordance with the standards
currently in force).
ASSEMBLY
Battery charging
Use only the battery chargers listed on the accessories
page. Only these battery chargers are matched to the lithium
ion battery of your power tool.
Note: The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full
capacity of the battery, completely charge the battery in the
battery charger before using your power tool for the rst time.
The lithium ion battery can be charged at any time without
reducing its service life. Interrupting the charging procedure
does not damage the battery.
Do not continue to press the On/O󰀨 switch after the
machine has been automatically switched o󰀨. The
battery can be damaged.
To remove the battery 5, press the battery unlocking button 9
and pull the battery out of the power tool toward the rear. Do
not exert any force.
The battery is equipped with a NTC temperature control
which allows charging only within a temperature range
of between 0º C and 45º C. A long battery service life is
achieved in this manner.
Observe the notes for disposal.
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
The battery (1) should be inserted into the back of the tool
by sliding it gently along the connection rail until it clicks into
place.
To remove the battery, press the battery button and gently
pull the battery out.
TELESCOPIC MAST HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (6)
To adjust the telescopic mast (6) loosen the adjustment
screw (7) and then gently pull the mast to the desired length.
Once the desired length is reached, tighten the adjusting
thread (7) rmly again.
HARNESS
The tool is supplied with a harness or strap for easy
attachment during handling. The use of the harness is
mandatory to maintain safety while working.
The harness anchorage (4) can be adjusted by working on
the screw that secures the harness. Anchor the harness
using the metal hook. Adjust the size of the harness using
the webbing and rest it on your right shoulder.
INSTALLING A HEAD
The tool has 2 heads with di󰀨erent functions. To interchange
them, loosen the thread on the upper head (9) and gently
pull the head through the upper mast (10) until the head
separates from the lower body.
Carefully insert the new head into the connection point (8)
taking special care to ensure that it ts correctly with the
double insert inside the connection point. The head should
slide easily to the bottom of the connection point (8) without
forcing the part or applying pressure.
Once the upper mast (10) is tted into the connection point
(8), screw the thread (9) back on rmly to x the head in
position.

Follow the sequence of pictures on page 6 to be able to
remove the bar and chain and reinstall them.
1- With the tool disconnected and the battery removed,
operate the chain lever (13) by pressing the button while
lifting the lever (Fig. A).
2- Turn the lever (13) anticlockwise until it is completely
unscrewed, removing the lever and the cover (Figure B).
3- Remove the chain and bar (14-15) taking care not to injure
yourself (Figure C).
