How to fix Steamfast SF-760 not producing continuous steam?

  If your Steamfast Iron isn't producing continuous steam, first check that the Continuous Steam Switch is correctly positioned. If that's not the issue, ensure the Temperature Control Dial is set to a high enough heat level; refer to the Steam Ironing section for more details. Also, if the Cordless Iron has been off the base for more than 30 seconds, place it back on the base and wait 7 seconds for it to reheat. See pg 10 for more information.

  If your Steamfast Iron is not heating up, first ensure that the base is properly plugged into an electrical outlet. Also, check your household circuit breaker or ground fault interrupter and reset it if necessary, or replace the fuse. If these steps don't work, make sure that the Temperature Control Dial has been turned to a heat setting.

  If your Steamfast Iron is leaking water, make sure you have not overfilled the water tank past the MAX line. Also, if the Continuous Steam Switch is on, ensure the Temperature Control Dial is set to a sufficiently high heat setting; refer to the Steam Ironing section for guidance. Another possible cause is mineral build-up; in that case, refer to the MINERAL BUILD-UP section for instructions.
