Troubleshooting
Dear Client,
Thank you for buying this STEBA product. The following table will help you with pro-
blems that may occur when using your device. For many problems there is a simple
solution, because not everything that appears like a malfunction must be serious.
Please check the following list before contacting our customer service.

Device does not
work
∙ It is not connected
∙ Fuse has failed
∙ Check the plug
∙ Check the fuse
Lid does not close ∙ Sealing ring is missing or
incorrect mounted
∙ Lid is not put correctly on
the device
∙ Check the mounting of the
sealing ring
∙ Check the lid lock mark
Lid does not open ∙ Pressure has not yet dis-
charged
∙ Safety valve is in lock po-
sition
∙ Release pressure with the
pressure release button
Steam discharges
between lid and
housing
∙ Sealing ring is damage or
soiled
∙ Replace sealing ring
∙ Clean sealing ring
Safety valve does
not lock and no
pressure can be
built
∙ Not enough liquid in the
cooking pot
∙ Silicon plug on the valve is
soiled
∙ Contact service
Occasional bangs ∙ Cooking pot is damp at the
bottom
∙ Clean and dry before use
Rice is too soft ∙ Too much water ∙ Reduce water
Rice not totally

∙ After cooking, leave the
rice for another 5 minutes
with the lid closed
