Important note
Cold-pressed oils, such as olive oil should not be used as dripping as these oils have a
poor quality at high temperatures.
Due to the high grill temperatures (up to 250°C), residues of oil, juices, herbs, etc. build
up on the hot grill surface and the non-stick effect decreases. It is hard or impossible to
remove these residues from the grilling plate.
Therefore, only use heat-resistant oils!
With different temperatures, the contact grill can prepare:
∙ Contact grilling with 6 different heights
∙ Pizza backing without contact to the upper plate
∙ Cook au gratin up to 5 cm height
∙ Raclette (Pan as accessories)
∙ BBQ
Getting started
∙ Make sure that the plates are correctly attached.
∙ Ensure the drip tray is correctly inserted into the grill.
∙ Put the power cord in a grounded wall outlet, the display will light up in blue.
∙ After some seconds press the ON/OFF button, in the display shows 00
∙ Now you can heat up the plates with temperatures form 60°C to 230°C.
∙ With the buttons you can choose the corresponding plate:
∙ Lower plate, right knob
∙ Upper plate, left knob
∙ Only heat up the device when closed.
∙ Push the control knob, the display shows 230°C.
∙ By pushing you reduce the temperature from 230°C in steps of 10°C to 60°C.
∙ During the heating time the chosen temperature flashes in the display. A red symbol
lights if the chosen temperature is reached, the temperature will light constantly and a
green symbol lights up.
∙ If both green LED’s light up, the device is ready to use.
∙ If the red LED’s light up, the corresponding plate is being heat up.
