NOTE!
Risk of damage due to blockage of the air current!
Reduced or blocked ventilation of the heat pump can lead to insufficient
removal of heat or moisture. This can cause mould to form or overheating of
the finned heat exchanger.
- Clean the grille in front of the fan blade and the fins of the heat exchanger
regularly and ensure that debris such as leaves or the like do not enter the
inner part of the heat exchanger.
- Ensure that the grille on the heat exchanger is never covered over and air
can flow freely through the device.
RCD adapter
The RCD adapter
C consists of an earth-contact plug and a residual current device. The earth-
contact plug must be connected to a suitable power socket with a protective earth conductor. The
residual current device disconnects the heat pump from the electricity as soon as any unexpected
currents which are hazardous for humans flow via the heat pump (e.g. body contact via
electrically conductive parts of the housing).
Testing the residual current device
1. Connect the RCD adapter
C to the electrical supply that has been prepared at the installation
site.
2. Press the RESET button
12.
The LED
11
lights up. The heat pump is supplied with electricity and is in the Standby mode.
3. Press the TEST button
13
.
The LED
11
lights up. The heat pump is disconnected from the electricity and the Display
14
goes out.
4. Press the RESET button 12.
The LED
11
lights up. The heat pump is supplied with electricity and is in the Standby mode.
The residual current device of the RCD adapter has now been tested successfully.
Activating the heater
The temperature range that can be set in operating mode is 15-35°C. The standard value of the
set water temperature is 27°C.
You can heat the water in the pool fastest with maximum water flow through the heat
pump (see section "Technical data"). However, increasing the throughput reduces the
dwell time at the heat exchanger. As a result, the total temperature difference between
the water in the pool and the heated water at the inlet of the pool is smaller and
therefore less perceptible. Please measure and write down the change to the current
water temperature every 30 minutes to detect the actual heating of the pool water.
Activating operating mode
1. Press the RESET12 button.
The LED
11
is lit. The heat pump is being supplied with power and is in standby mode.
2. Press the ON/OFF15 button.
The heat pump
1
is in operating mode and the display
14
shows the current water temperature
in °C.
