What to do if my STERO Dishwasher is not cleaning dishes properly?
    • A
      Andrew FranklinAug 14, 2025
If your STERO Dishwasher isn't cleaning dishes well, several factors could be at play. Start by checking for any obstructions at the pump intake, as insufficient wash water due to a drain obstruction can prevent proper drain closing. Ensure wash and rinse arms rotate properly. Also, make sure dishes are scraped before starting the cycle. Deliming may be necessary if there are excessive mineral deposits throughout the wash and rinse system.

Why is there spotting on silverware, glasses, and dishes in my STERO Dishwasher?
    • C
      Cynthia ReyesAug 21, 2025
Spotting on your silverware, glasses, and dishes from your STERO Dishwasher could be due to several reasons. Ensure you scrape dishes before the cycle begins. If there is loss of water pressure due to pump obstruction, disconnect the electrical power supply (both dishwasher and booster if applicable) and drain the tank. The issue might also be excessively hard water.

      William ReedAug 25, 2025

What to do if my STERO Dishwasher has inadequate rinse water temperature or rinse?
    • J
      johnsonannaAug 28, 2025
If your STERO Dishwasher has inadequate rinse or the rinse water temperature is too low, and you see a possible EE display, it might be due to a dirty line strainer. Turn off the water supply, remove the strainer cap, withdraw and clean the screen, then reassemble. Deliming may be necessary if there are excessive mineral deposits throughout the wash and rinse system. You can also try pressing OFF, waiting 5 seconds, and then pressing ON again. The machine will automatically extend wash time until the booster heats up (this applies to SD3 booster equipped machines only).

What to do if my STERO Dishwasher is not filling or filling slowly?
    • P
      Peter TuckerAug 31, 2025
If your STERO Dishwasher is not filling or filling slowly, and you see a possible E2 display, debris may be obstructing the standpipe movement, allowing fill water to drain. Turn off the hot water supply, remove the strainer cap, withdraw and clean the screen, then reassemble. Make sure the hot water supply valve is open. You can also try pressing OFF, waiting 5 seconds, and then pressing ON again.

    • M

What to do if my STERO Dishwasher valve is leaking?
    • S
      Sheila MasseySep 6, 2025
If your STERO Dishwasher valve is leaking, shut off the supply line. Unscrew and lift the bonnet from the valve body, clean the valve, and reassemble it. The leak may be caused by foreign material preventing proper valve operation.

Why is water dribbling from the lower rinse arm of my STERO Dishwasher?
    • D
      daisygordonSep 10, 2025
If your STERO Dishwasher is equipped with an electric booster, normal dripping from the lower rinse arm will occur during water heating due to the expansion of the water. This will occur once between machine cycles.
