Prevent the truck from moving away from the dock during loading or unloading.
5. Release [deck up]. The deck will lower due to gravity until the extended lip rests on
the loading floor of the truck.
6. Make sure that the lip has sufficient support (min. 100 mm) on the loading floor of
the truck.
The lateral tilt allows the dock leveller to adjust to an unevenly loaded truck.
n Note:
The maximum torsional flexibility is determined by the size of the dock leveller. With a
larger dock leveller more lateral tilt is possible.
