7. Safety
7.1 Safety instructions
Danger of electrocution!
Disconnect power before installing this appliance.
Wear eye protection during the installation of this
appliance. If the tubing is ruptured, the refrigerant
used in the appliance may cause burns.
Do not bend the tubing while the appliance is runn-
ning. The refrigerant could leak und cause severe
burns.
In case of leaks, do not breathe the refrigerant. Vacate
the area. Ventilate the area.
If you use a ladder, the ladder should be secured from
sliding out, dropping down or tipping over.
7.2 Regulations and standards
— The installation (water and electrical work) and commissi-
oning, as well as the maintenance of this equipment, must
only be carried out by an authorised qualified contractor in
accordance with these instructions.
— Perfect function and safe operation can only be assured when
using original accessories and spare parts intended for this
equipment.
— Regulations of your local electricity supply utility.
— Regulations of your local water supply utility.
— All plumbing work must comply with national and applicable
state and plumbing codes.

— The equipment type plate

7.3 Water installation
— Material of the cold water line:
Steel, copper or plastic pipe systems.
— Material of the hot water line:
Copper or plastic pipe systems.
7.4 Electrical installation
— Only provide a permanently connected power supply.
— The appliance must be able to be separated from the mains
power supply, for example by fuses that disconnect all poles
with at least 3mm contact separation.
— The appliance should be connected to properly grounded de-
dicated branch circuits of proper voltate rating. Ground must
be brought to the Ground at the circuit breaker panel.
