cover.

Takeoutthescrew.
-Pullthecompletetensioner
assemblyoutoftheengine
housing.
•
Takethethrustpad(1)offthe
adjustingscrew(2).
•
Rotatethespurgear(3)untilthe
adjustingscrewcomesoutofthe
tensionerslide(4).
•
Pullthespurgearoutofthe
cover.
•
Pullthetensionerslideoffthe
cover.
-Taketheadjustingscrewoutof
thecover.
-Inspecttheteethonthespur
gearandadjustingscrew.
Replacebothpartsifnecessary.
Reversetheabovesequenceto
installthechaintensioner.
-Coatteethofadjustingscrew
andspurgearwithgrease,
see11.2,beforerefitting.
