What to do if the LED on my Stihl Battery Charger flashes red?

If the LED on your Stihl Battery Charger flashes red, it could be due to several reasons. First, there may be no electrical contact between the charger and battery; in this case, remove the battery and reinsert it into the charger. Alternatively, there may be a malfunction in the battery. If reinserting the battery doesn't solve the problem and 4 LEDs on the battery are flashing, the battery has a malfunction and must be replaced. Otherwise, have the battery checked by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer. Finally, the charger itself may be malfunctioning, in which case you should have it checked by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer.
