Rectifying Malfunctions
Malfunction: Cordless pruning shears do not run after switch-on
Message after diagnosis

Cause Remedy
Testing the Battery
Insufficient state of charge
(1 LED on battery flashes green)
Charging the Battery
Battery too hot / too cold
(1 LED on battery glows red)
Allow battery to cool down / allow battery
to warm up slowly at temperatures of
about 15°C - 20°C (60°F - 70°F)
Malfunction
(4 LEDs on battery flash red)
Remove the battery and refit it
Moisture in power tool's electronics or
battery
Allow power tool electronics or battery to
dry
BATT KO
Check connection between battery and bat-
tery bag
No electrical contact Remove the battery, visually check con-
tacts. Use a blunt tool to carefully clean
the contacts in the battery bag. Refit the
battery. Close the quick release buckle
on the battery bag and tighten the strap.
BATT KO
Check connection between battery bag and
control unit
No electrical contact Check connection. Remove plug from
control unit and refit.
POWERLINE KO
Check connection between control unit and
pruning shears
No electrical contact Check connection. Tighten down the
union nut firmly by hand.
TRIGGERLINE KO
Check connection between control unit and
pruning shears
No electrical contact Check connection. Tighten down the
union nut firmly by hand.
