Temperature Monitoring
The electronic control automatically
reduces cutting performance if the
cordless pruning shears or the control
unit become too hot. The following
message appears on the display.
LED on charger flashes red
No electrical contact between charger
and battery
Remove the battery and refit it
Malfunction in battery
(4 LEDs on battery flash red for
about 5 seconds)
Remove the battery from the charger
and fit it in the battery bag in the back-
pack. Switch on the power tool at the
controller – if the LEDs continue to flash,
the battery has a malfunction and must
be replaced.

Insufficient grease between cutting and
anvil blades
Use grease gun to pump grease into the
reservoir between the cutting and anvil

Too little play between cutting and anvil

Loosen adjusting nut and readjust play
between cutting and anvil blades
Different ambient and cutting conditions see "Working Techniques"
Cutting performance of pruning shears sud-
denly deteriorates
Pruning shears overheated.

Reduce working speed or thickness of
