Check air filter and fit a new one if
necessary.

Check spark arresting screen and
clean or replace as necessary.

Carefully screw the idle speed
screw /'down onto its seat coun-
terclockwise (left-hand thread).
Then open it two turns clockwise.
This is the standard setting.

Start and warm up the engine
•
Now adjust idle speed correctly with
the idle speed screw /': the dril-
ling spindle must not rotate.

clockwise until the engine runs
smoothly - drilling spindle must not
rotate.

spindle stops rotating - then turn the
screw about another one full turn
in the same direction from that

Press in the tab .
Remove the filter cover .
•
Clean away loose dirt from inside
filter cover and around the filter.
•
Remove filter and inspect -
replace if dirty or damaged.
•
Install filter in the filter cover.
•
Refit the filter cover.
