Definitions
1 Manual Fuel Pump
Provides additional fuel feed for a
cold start.
2 Fuel Filler Cap
For closing the fuel tank.
3 Fuel Tank
For fuel and oil mixture.
4 Starter Grip
The grip of the pull starter, for
starting the engine.
5 Muffler with Spark Arresting Screen
Muffler reduces exhaust noises and
diverts exhaust gases away from
operator. Spark arresting screen is
designed to reduce the risk of fire.
6 Coupling Sleeve
Connects drive tube to lower part of
drive tube (stub shaft).
7Wing Screw
Secures lower part of the drive tube
(stub shaft).
8 Drive Tube with Handle Hose
Encloses and protects the drive
shaft between the engine and
coupling sleeve.
9 Carrying Ring
Connects the unit to the harness.
10 Stop Switch
Switches the engine's ignition off
and stops the engine.
11 Throttle Trigger
Controls the speed of the engine.
12 Throttle Trigger Lockout
Must be depressed before the
throttle trigger can be activated.
13 Carburetor Adjusting Screws
For tuning the carburetor.
14 Choke Lever
Eases engine starting by enriching
mixture.
15 Air Filter Cover
Covers and protects the air filter
element.
16 Spark Plug Boot
Connects the spark plug with the
ignition lead.
17 Machine Support
For resting machine on the ground.
18 Oilomatic Saw Chain
A loop consisting of cutters, tie
straps and drive links.
19 Guide Bar
Supports and guides the saw chain.
20 Oil Tank
Tank for chain lubricating oil.
21 Oil Filler Cap
For closing the oil tank.
22 Drive Tube
Encloses and protects the drive
shaft between the coupling sleeve
and gearbox.
23 Sleeve
Locates drive tube in coupling
sleeve.
24 Chain Sprocket Cover
Covers the sprocket.
25 Hook
For hooking the machine to a
branch and pulling branches away.
26 Chain Guard (Scabbard)
To protect the operator from
touching the chain.
27 Chain Sprocket
The toothed wheel that drives the
saw chain.
28 Chain Tensioner
Permits precise adjustment of chain
tension.
