: Insert clamp screws (3) as far as
stop.
: With the engine is resting on the
machine support, line up the
gearbox (1) so that the clamp
screws face up and the chain
sprocket cover is exactly vertical.
: Tighten down the clamp screws (3)
in the following sequence:
– tighten the left screw moderately
– tighten the right screw moderately
– tighten down the left screw firmly
– tighten down the right screw firmly
: Unscrew nut and take off cover.
: Turn tensioning screw (1)
counterclockwise until the
tensioning nut (2) butts against the
left end of the housing slot, then
back it off 5 full turns.
The chain is very sharp – wear work
gloves to protect hands from cuts.
: Fit the chain –
start at the bar nose.
