Storing the Power Tool
When the unit is not in use, remove it and the holder from the saw and
store in a dry and high or locked location out of the reach of children
and other unauthorized persons.
If the unit is not used for a prolonged period, remove the batteries from
the battery compartment.
Store batteries in a cool and dry location.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children and pets - risk of swallowing.
Wear protective gloves to remove leaking or damaged batteries from the
battery compartment - risk of chemical burns.
Never throw batteries into a fire and never short circuit batteries - risk of
explosion.
Disposal
Dispose of batteries in accordance with country-specific waste
disposal rules and regulations.
STIHL products must not be thrown in the garbage can. Take the
product, accessories and packaging to an approved disposal
site for environment-friendly recycling. Contact your STIHL servicing
dealer for the latest information on waste disposal.
