Though an electrical phase is supplied with power, the motor
does not turn.
Check to see if the overload protection has triggered (in this case just
wait for the motor to cool down); then make sure that the motor is
powered at the correct mains voltage, measuring between the Com-
mon wire and the supplied electrical phase; finally try powering the
opposite electrical phase. If the motor still does not turn, something
might be seriously wrong with the electronic switch control unit or
the motor windings.
The motor doesn’t start when raising.
If the awning is closed or nearly closed the motor will not perform the
raising manoeuvre, the awning must be lowered for a short section
and then raised again.
During the UP phase, before reaching the “0” position, the
motor stops and then makes 3 attempts to start up again.
This doesn’t necessarily mean trouble: in case of overload during the
up phase the motor is switched off for 1 second and then makes 3
attempts to complete the manoeuvre. If this happens again for an-
other three times in succession and the motor blocks again on the
following raising manoeuvre, the present position of the awning then
becomes the new “0” position.
During the down phase, before reaching the “1” position,
the motor stops.
This does not necessarily mean trouble: in case of overload during
the down phase the motor is switched off.
During the down phase the motor makes only half a revolu-
tion, while in the up phase it appears to turn normally.
You must allow the up manoeuvre to be completed to enable the limit
switch system to realign its position to “0”.
The motor performs a half turn both raising and lowering.
The memory needs to be cancelled (table A5) and all positions pro-
grammed again.
