SCREEN USAGE
The screen is divided into dedicated areas which never move and are never
hidden by anything else. Therefore, you can always expect to find the same
screen items in the same positions.

some detail on the function of each.
Cursor, Prompt Line: Some menus use a highlighted cursor that can be
moved among menu items. Other menus use the prompt line which may
permit data entry or provide information only. Some menus use both the
cursor and the prompt line.
Color: Color is used to help communicate information and direct the eye to
areas of interest. The colors used and their functions are:
Yellow - • Function key choices involved with menu selection
• Menu title
• Prompt line
• Cursor
Dark Blue - • Function key choices involved with permitted
selections within a menu
• Idle state in status area (if not in SECS "online
remote")
• Slightly highlighted areas for easier reading
Light Blue - • Function key choices involved with denied selections
within a menu
• Background
Green - • Machine running messages in status area
Red - • "Halt" or "Finish Cycle" in status area
• Error
• Idle state if in SECS "online remote"
• Other information of high importance
• Entry being made with the cursor
• Entry being made on the prompt line
• Abort/Reset key label
