Procedure to restore files (should be done by qualified personnel only or contact the
factory):
1) Turn the machine off and remove the polish section left-hand service door.
2) Pull on the service door interlock to defeat it.
3) Turn the machine back on and wait until the software restarts.
4) Quit the software by typing "Alt-Q". (Hold down the "Alt" and "Q" keys
together.) The prompt should now show "C:\QB45>".
5) Insert the diskette containing previously backed up files into the drive in the
computer located behind the left-hand polish section service door.
6) Using DOS copy commands, copy only those files from the diskette to the \QB45
directory on the hard disk directory depending on the reason files are being
restored. Caution, this overwrites files on the machine computer's hard disk.
7) Remove the diskette with the backed up files.
8) Turn the machine off and replace the left-hand polish door.
9) Turn the machine on to restart the software.
New "Hot Key" for Technicians:
In the Diagnostics menu, the "Tab" key will perform a "page up" function to complement
the "Next Page" function key choice. (There is no "Page up" menu choice because it
would require the inconvenience of continually choosing between two menu choice
rows.)
While you can get to any page using the "Next Page" choice, sometimes it is easy to
"overshoot" the desired page. Instead of having to press "Next Page" enough times to roll
all the way around to the desired page, the "Tab" key can be used to back up.
Note: For reference, other "hot key" functions are:
Alt-Q Quits software
Alt-D Stops user application in preparation for using the Flopro debugger
Alt-P Invokes the Flopro debugger
Alt-S Toggles SECS test display on and off
Alt-T Displays servo status
Alt-1 Resets the table 1 pad life counter and timer
Alt-2 Resets the table 2 pad life counter and timer
