SWEEP PARAMETERS MENU
This menu permits setting parameters that determine how the programmable
conditioning arm will sweep across the table. (The Conditioning/Cleaning
Parameters Menu has other conditioning choices.) If the programmable arm
is not installed, the Sweep Parameters Menu will not display.
The sweep range extends from the "outer" to the "inner" position. This
range is divided into 20 segments. Segment l is at the outer position, and
segment 20 is at the inner position. Each step has a corresponding time and
force. By varying the times and/or forces, any linear or non-linear sweep
behavior can be generated.
The Times = 1st and Forces = 1st function keys can be used to avoid
tedious repetitive number entry if all times or all forces will be the same.
Simply enter the desired time or force in the segment l position and then
press the appropriate "= 1st" function key. All 20 segment entries will
immediately equal the first entry.
