ADDITIONAL FEATURES AT THE PASSWORD MENU
EXPANDED PASSWORD PROTECTION:
Three password levels are offered: Operator, Engineer, and Maintenance.
The Operator level permits recipe retrieval but does not permit any changes
to any menus (with the exception of optional time and backpressure changes
described below).
The Engineer level allows changes to process parameters and access to the
manual control menu. The Maintenance level allows access to all menus.
Passwords are 1 to 8 digit numbers. (Alpha characters cannot be used.)
These password levels define access to function key choices on the various
menus. They are not used for any other purpose. Password levels are set in
the Password Menu.
The "Operator" level does not require a password and will immediately be
set if the Set to 'Oper' function key is pressed.
The Engineer and Maintenance levels can optionally have password
protection. If no passwords have been entered for a password level, then that
level will be immediately be set when its "set to" function key is pressed.
However, if passwords exists, then the prompt line will ask for one.
Up to 15 passwords can exist for the Engineer level and 15 for the
Maintenance level.
