a. Set the indicator on the manifold plate.
b. Turn the indicator ON.
c. Move the indicator to a location near one of the jack screws.
d. Zero the indicator.
e. Move the indicator to the horizontal surface of the jack screw to
measure the protrusion (height ) of the jack screw from the manifold
plate.
f. Read the indicator gauge.
If the reading meets the goal, skip to Step h., below in this section.
If the reading does not meet the goal, correct by following the
procedure in Step g., immediately below.
g. Correct the position of the jack screw by hand rotating it from the
bottom while reading the gauge.
Rotate the jack screw as needed until the goal is met.
h. Repeat Steps b. through g., immediately above, for each of the other
two screws.
When all three jack screws meet the positioning goal, go on to the
step immediately below.
17. Release the pivoting ring retainers.
18. Rotate the manifold assembly 180 _ to reposition the assembly
with the square heads of the jack screws protruding down.
Note: The round ends of the jack screws will be facing up.
19. Relock the pivoting retainers.
20. Without turning the jack screws, carefully place an O-ring seal on the
back of each.
